Helpful resources
Our Knowledge Base now provides comprehensive guidance on various aspects of our system. This includes instructions on accessing your account and registering, navigating our supplier portals, managing roles and worker subscriptions, setting up and using the Workforce by Avetta Mobile App and other support materials.
The Business Rules specify the requirements of the documents you upload in the system. Ensuring your documents meet these requirements will save time and have your business and workers approved faster.
Complete and return this form if you have a new worker who is already registered to a different company in the system, and you need them added to your company. Workers can be removed from your company by an administrator directly in the system. Instructions on how to complete this process are available under the End Employment sub-heading of this page: https://kb.pegasus.net.au/display/WFMS/Supplier+Portals

What benefit does the system have for contractors?
Registration ensures your business and workers are qualified to access Thiess sites. It allows you to keep business and worker details up to date in one place online, and to ensure your insurances, qualifications, medicals, and licences are always correct and current to work safely on site.
Do subcontractors need to be registered?
Yes, you must register any subcontractors you engage to work at Thiess on behalf of your company.
If you are a subcontractor, please speak to your primary contractor about registering you to work at Thiess.
If I’m already a registered BHP contractor, do I need to register with Thiess?
Yes, you do. The Thiess Mt Arthur South site is a separate statutory area of responsibility.
Who do I contact if I have questions about the system?
You can contact Avetta, who manages the system on behalf of Thiess. Visit Contact Us for details.
What is LAAMP?
Learning And Assessment Management Portal (LAAMP) is a Digital Training Platform that Thiess uses across all sites. LAAMP is available for mobile devices from the App Store (Apple devices) or Google Play (Android devices), and on desktops at the website laamp.com.au
All site inductions and procedures relating to a worker’s role will be completed on LAAMP.
Why do workers need their own unique email address?
As LAAMP sends notifications to the worker’s nominated email address – including system login information and training compliance information – the nominated email address must be exclusive to that specific worker, and no other person should have visibility into their data.
As online learning is completed in LAAMP and can be accessed from any location, this unique email also helps to ensure that the worker is the person accessing their LAAMP account to complete online induction and procedure training, rather than a company administrator on their behalf.
Can I fast track an application?
Yes, we offers an escalation procedure.
We understands that there are times when you’ll need your data application or access ID cards to be processed faster than our standard delivery time of two working days.
